A reader gave me pictures of another Jeffrey Dale for sale that she has in Oregon.
I know nothing of this board but you can get her email by clicking on the link.

This rare board was offered for sale and the buyer didn't show, so now it a restoration project.
The spots you can see thru the pigment look to be in good shape. The nose is there, not repaired. There is a small ding on the left side of the nose. This is how I got the board in the early 70's. The tail block seems to be fiberglass and is not colored over, it is a little scuffed but not cracked or damaged. In the fin picture you can see the evidence of being dragged on the sand where it wore through the pigment. I think if you wanted to see the original board underneath it would be in very good shape. A lot of people use to like the heavier boards and would opaque pigment their boards to protect them from the sun and get more weight.
